Conclusion

 In conclusion, BrightLine LLC has seen substantial growth in a short period of time, due to the industry defining innovation, utilizing their own patented technology called Build-Once-Run-Everywhere  to create a platform approach allowing one advertisement to be compatible with all first person smart tv or platform contracts. This approach subsequently allowed BrightLine to set the standard for smart platform and Over-The-Top advertising, being the main aspect of the companies sales pitch as according the manager we interviewed Alex Gero. 

With this technology carrying the growth of the company seemingly with ease, BrightLine has overlooked how to make the selling of this product as efficient as possible. BrightLine currently uses three information systems in the structured process we analyzed, sales. These three information systems are SAP, Netsuite, and Quickbooks.  With the use of three infromation systems in one process (Sales), the potential for information silos is extremely high. The solution to this problem, creates opportunities for Brightline to create new profit centers and is directly within the companies capabilities. The solution recommended by our team after thorough research allowing us to understand the capabilities of the company, is to develop another innovative technology. Creating an information system, to be used universally throughout the sales process, leads to better efficiency of the process, as well as more opportunities to grow the company through continued related diversification.

The reasoning for us believing thst developing an innovative information system is within the capabilities of Brightline, is due to their already patented Build-Once-Run-Everywhere technology, allowing an platform approach to be utilized universally across all first party Over-The-Top and smart platform/ T.V. advertisements. This allows for one advanced interactive marketing budget (advertisement) to be compatible with all opportunities in the advanced advertisement landscape. This innovation has been key to the quick growth of the company overall, with manager Alex Gero, explaining to us that Build-Once-Run-Everywhere is the main aspect of the selling pitch. For continued growth to occur, Alex Gero, states that innovation is of key to every business that has substansial success. Throughout our research, we believe the entirety of the business has been based around this industry changing technology and the effectiveness of the sales pitch. The main key performance indicators of the company are revenue, leading the company to overlook the inefficiency in the sales process, due to its overall success in general. 

Being a successful business endeavor, as a group, the only other recommendations we have to improve the overall business processes, is ensuring security of data. The manager made us aware that Brightline is behind the times when it comes to cyber security. Machine learning algorithms are getting better at hacking every second, taking every step you can to protect sensitive information is vital. We recommend utilizing encrypted messaging for all emails or communication within the company, and a PGP key sytem for messages between customers, and our sales team. As well as this, every company computer, must have top of the line firewalls installed, with a virtual private network.

Brightline is an industry leader in the advertising space due to innovative technology, when growing extremely quick inefficiencies in certain processes have been ignored due to key performance indicators not showing these issues to management. Brightline should stay within the corporate strategy leading to success, developing a market defining technology, and orchestrating every other process around this. By creating an information system to streamline sales in effect; lowering overhead cost of the sales process, leading to a new potential profit avenue, and continued growth of the business through related diversification.
